About the Club

Our very successful Top of the Hill Club was started in 1991 by Profinium Financial, especially for people 55 and over. Since that time we have held many Club events, which have helped us develop long-term relationships with our customers. Currently Profinium Financial has a combined Top Of The Hill Club membership of over 1,800 members.

Ellen Borkenhagen, the Profinium Financial Club Director, plans and organizes the trips and events for the bank Clubs. Vicki Terhark organized the club in 1991 and now serves as the Club Advisor. Profinium Financial - Truman Location started their Top Of The Hill Club in 1999 and their Club Directors were Alice Raddatz, Melody Leimer, and Vanessa Kettner. In 2004, Melody Leimer became the contact person for Truman and JoDi Truesdell was the Club's Director until 2004. Ellen Borkenhagen now serves all three offices. Her schedule is Monday, Wednesday and Friday in Fairmont and can be reached at (507) 235-7577 and Tuesday and Thursday in Truman and can be reached at (507) 776-4005. Her schedule varies as events warrant.

Profinium Financial Top Of The Hill Club Member banking opportunities include:

No service charge on club checking, unlimited checks, personalized checks, money orders, official checks, all issued without a fee. Free copying service, free notary service, free first 6 months on any new safety deposit box, free lamination and a free instant cash card.

The free movies throughout the year have become a core benefit of the Top Of The Hill Club. A continental breakfast is served prior to the movie.

A quarterly newsletter affords the bank the opportunity to inform members of our many other services as well as keep the members up to date regarding club activities, trips, movies, and other upcoming events. The publication also provides Club members with information regarding the Merchant Discount program listings.

In 2003, a merchant discount program was added to the club's list of benefits. Top Of The Hill Club members now enjoy attractive discounts at over 100 local business. New and updated merchant discount listings are printed in the Top Of The Hill Club newsletter. To take advantage of the discount, members simply present their membership card at the participating local businesses.

Entertaining 500 Card Potluck parties are held throughout the year. Attendance at the Fairmont location is usually 40 members while the Truman location hosts 30 members at the Truman Restaurant. Other entertaining parties include the Summer Picnic planned in June and the Holiday Party to be held in November. Both of these events are held at the Knights of Columbus building in Fairmont.

Entertaining day trips are offered every month. There are a wide variety of trips planned each year including theater shows, boat trips, educational tours, and more. The Old Log Dinner Theater always provides quality theater shows, while the Chanhassen Dinner Theatres rate high for musical productions. There are always a few overnight trips and several extended trips planned throughout the year. If interested or for more information regarding any of the Top of the Hill Club trips contact us.
